Amerant Bank’s Abel Montero Gomez Appointed to Catalyst Miami Board of Directors
Coral Gables, FL – Amerant Bank, the largest community bank headquartered in Florida, announced today that Abel Montero Gomez, Vice President, Business Banking Team Leader, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Catalyst Miami.
Catalyst Miami is a nonprofit organization that advances economic and racial justice by investing in communities of color as they build to empower change to unjust economic and political systems from the ground up. His selection underscores Amerant’s dedication to serving and creating inclusive environments for people.
Abel and his fellow board members will work to identify and collectively solve issues adversely affecting economically challenged communities throughout Miami-Dade County.
