Amerant’s Eduardo Bello Appointed to Board of Directors for Hispanic Unity of Florida

MIAMI, Fla. – Amerant, the largest community bank headquartered in Florida, is proud to announce that Eduardo Bello, Wealth Management Business Manager, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF).

Founded in 1982, the Hispanic Unity of Florida serves to ease the acculturation transition for newcomers from other nations. Currently, HUF serves diverse and multi- cultural working families from the United States as well as more than 25 other countries and works to provide them with the tools they need to build a new life.

As a member of the Board of Directors, Bello will provide guidance and assistance to immigrant families in need, advancing HUF’s mission to empower immigrants to become productive, self-sufficient, and engaged in their community.

Having joined Amerant more than 10 years ago, Bello previously served as President and CEO of Amerant Investments Inc., and previous to that served in several senior positions with global organizations. Bello earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from the Yale School of Management.
